Resumen
This article analyzes the economic essence of the concept of food security, its role in the stability of the national economy, and factors related to the effectiveness of the supply chain. The study highlights changes in the global food market, price volatility, diversification of agricultural production, and the economic significance of the rational use of resources. Also, during the analysis, macroeconomic factors influencing food security were studied - such indicators as the investment climate, the state's agrarian policy, the level of dependence on imports, inflationary processes, and the development of logistics infrastructure. The article, using the example of the Uzbek economy, substantiates the priorities for ensuring the stability of the food market, mechanisms for supporting domestic production, and strategic tasks related to economic security.
