Аннотация

This paper examines the comprehensive application of artificial intelligence (AI)-based assessment systems in modern educational environments. With the exponential growth of digital technologies and machine learning capabilities, AI has emerged as a transformative tool for enhancing the objectivity, efficiency, personalization, and scalability of student assessment across diverse educational settings. The study provides an in-depth analysis of how AI-driven assessment systems contribute to improved learning outcomes, significantly reduce teacher workload through automation, ensure fair and consistent evaluation practices, and enable adaptive learning pathways. The findings demonstrate that AI assessment systems facilitate real-time feedback mechanisms, adaptive testing protocols, predictive analytics for student performance, and data-driven decision-making processes in educational institutions. These systems utilize advanced technologies including natural language processing, machine learning algorithms, computer vision, and learning analytics to evaluate various forms of student work ranging from multiple-choice assessments to complex essay evaluations and coding assignments. However, the implementation of AI-based assessment systems presents significant challenges including data privacy concerns, algorithmic bias and fairness issues, the need for transparency in automated decision-making, ethical considerations regarding student autonomy, and the requirement for substantial technical infrastructure and educator training. The paper concludes with comprehensive policy recommendations and institutional guidelines for the effective, equitable, and responsible implementation of AI-based assessment systems in educational contexts, emphasizing the importance of human oversight, continuous evaluation of system performance, and alignment with pedagogical objectives.
