This article discusses the role of the family in developing industriousness among primary school pupils. Industriousness is one of the important moral qualities that helps children become responsible, disciplined, independent, and socially active individuals. The primary school period is a sensitive stage in a child’s personal development, because habits, values, and attitudes toward learning and work begin to form at this age. The family, as the first educational environment, plays a decisive role in shaping children’s positive attitude toward work.
