IMPLEMENTATION OF A DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY-BASED RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR EFFECTIVE GOVERNANCE IN JOINT-STOCK COMPANIES
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article investigates the implementation of digital technology-based risk management systems to enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance in joint-stock companies (JSCs). In the context of rising global economic uncertainties, evolving regulatory frameworks, and the increasing complexity of operational environments, organizations must reimagine their risk management strategies. Drawing upon international standards such as ISO 31000 and COSO’s ERM framework, the study evaluates how technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, big data analytics, and cloud computing can help mitigate risks more accurately and efficiently. Using the example of emerging markets, particularly Uzbekistan, the research identifies the main barriers and offers a structured framework for deploying such digital systems. The article concludes by proposing actionable recommendations to promote transparent, data-driven, and sustainable risk governance in JSCs.
