Abstract

This study explores the formation of a new semiotic system within the discourse of online gaming among Uzbek-speaking users. With the increasing popularity of online multiplayer games such as PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Call of Duty, a hybrid digital language marked by unique signs, abbreviations, emojis, and code-switching patterns has emerged. By analyzing linguistic and semiotic data collected from real interactions, this paper aims to reveal the dynamic processes of meaning-making in this domain. The findings show that online gaming not only fosters a new communicative environment but also shapes a specific symbolic identity among Uzbek gamers.
