DEVELOPMENT OF VOLITIONAL QUALITIES IN STUDENTS THROUGH THE MEANS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of developing students’ volitional qualities through physical education. Taking into account the psychophysiological characteristics of adolescents, the authors designed and experimentally tested a pedagogical program aimed at strengthening willpower and self-discipline. The program is based on systemic and activity-oriented approaches and includes a set of exercises and educational methods that develop persistence, courage, self-control, and endurance. The study results demonstrate that the purposeful and systematic use of physical education tools positively influences not only students’ physical development but also their moral and volitional growth. This approach contributes to fostering self-regulation, independence, and social activity among adolescents, forming a harmoniously developed and resilient personality.
