ORGANIZING BASKETBALL CLASSES IN A HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Organization of basketball classes in the system of physical education of students of higher educational institutions plays a significant role in strengthening health, developing physical qualities and forming a harmoniously developed personality. In recent years, there has been a tendency to reduce the physical activity of student youth, which negatively affects their physical condition. Inclusion of sectional basketball classes in the educational process is considered one of the most effective means of optimizing physical education. Basketball contributes to the development of coordination, agility, endurance, reaction speed, strengthens the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, improves the functional state of the body.
