According to the World Health Organization, about 15% of the world's population, that is, more than 1 billion people, have some form of disability. About 190 million of them, or 3.8% of the world's total population, aged 15 and over, have serious health problems and experience difficulties in their daily lives. The number of people with disabilities is growing rapidly, including due to an increase in the proportion of elderly citizens and chronic diseases. At the same time, the market for special adaptive clothing is also developing - both large and small brands are entering it. Adaptive clothing is being developed for people with special needs: the elderly, those recovering from surgery or serious illnesses, and people with disabilities.
