Abstract
This paper explores the key factors that influence investment activity in an economy, highlighting their characteristics and interrelations. It examines both internal and external determinants such as macroeconomic stability, interest rates, fiscal and monetary policies, political environment, access to finance, technological development, investor confidence, and institutional quality. The study provides an analytical framework for understanding how these variables impact business and capital investment decisions. Emphasis is placed on the dynamic nature of investment climate and the importance of creating a supportive policy environment to stimulate private and public investments. The research also discusses the role of globalization and foreign direct investment (FDI) in shaping national investment trends.
