INNOVATIVE MODELS FOR DEVELOPING ECOTOURISM IN MOYNAQ DISTRICT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF “QURIQ KO'L LANDSCAPE” PARK PROJECT.
Main Article Content
Abstract
This scientific article provides an in-depth analysis of the comprehensive development of ecotourism in the Moynaq District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The ecological state of the existing ecosystem, economic potential, and anthropogenic changes in the region following the ecological disaster are systematically assessed, along with the social welfare of the population. The main novelty of the research is the proposal of a conceptual project, the “Dry Lake Landscape Park,” adapted to the conditions of Moynaq , which has not yet been implemented in comparable environmental contexts. This project has been developed as a unique model that integrates tourism, ecological education, scientific monitoring, and economic activities by transforming the natural regeneration processes on the bed of the dried-up Aral Sea into a structured ecological restoration framework. The article systematically examines innovative components of the project, such as “Living Sand World,” “Ecological Well-being Arena,” “Biography Induction Zones,” “Kebirbag' Education Area,” and “Three-Stage Ecological Trails”. At the end of the study, the contribution of ecotourism to regional sustainable development is evaluated.
