Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the stage works of one of the great representatives of Uzbek dramaturgy, Maqsud Shaikhzoda, and their performance in Uzbek theaters. The author's historical and philosophical dramas are interpreted as stage works, as well as components such as directorial solutions, acting skills, and stage decorations. In particular, the unique interpretations of Shaikhzoda's works such as "Jaloliddin Manguberdi", "Mirzo Ulugbek" and "Amir Temur" on various theater stages are revealed, as well as their role in restoring historical memory and expressing national identity. The article also scientifically analyzes how new aspects of Shaikhzoda's dramaturgy are being illuminated through modern theater technologies and stage expression possibilities. The relevance of the works in today's theater art is also shown through the evaluations of the performances by the audience and theater critics.
