ETYMOLOGY OF TOPONYMS BELONGING TO THE ASSOCIATION LAYER On the example of the Bukhara region

This article studies the origin, semantic composition and etymological analysis of some toponyms belonging to the assimilation layer found in the Bukhara region. The historical roots of toponyms, forms introduced from Arabic, Persian-Tajik, Turkic and other languages are analyzed, and the influence of social, political and cultural factors on their formation is highlighted. The theoretical aspects of the problem were studied by describing the concepts related to the study of toponyms, which reflect the political and economic situation, socio-historical environment, spiritual and cultural life, ethnic composition, processes of origin, and labor activity of the people and nation living in a certain territory.
