A METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING BASED ON BLENDED LEARNING TECHNOLOGY

This article examines the development of communicative competence in English language teaching through the application of blended learning technology. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating face-to-face instruction with online learning activities to create a learner-centered and interactive educational environment. The proposed methodology is based on communicative language teaching principles and focuses on the purposeful use of digital tools to support meaningful language practice. The article outlines key stages of instruction, types of communicative activities, and assessment approaches suitable for a blended learning context. The findings suggest that blended learning enhances learners’ opportunities for interaction, promotes autonomy, and contributes to the effective development of communicative competence in English.
